The Valuation Visionary award, established by the Collateral Risk Network (CRN) in 2011, nominates the person who exemplifies integrity, dedication and exemplary service to the collateral valuation profession. The Valuation Visionary Award has become the most coveted award in the appraisal profession, represented in prior years by Tony Pistilli, Xome; Mark Linné, ValueScape; Greg Stephens, Metro-West Appraisal Co., LLC; Jeff Bradford, Bradford Technologies; and most recently by Rick Langdon, Wells Fargo.

George is widely recognized as a leader in technology through innovation. Joan Trice, the founder of the Collateral Risk Network states, “I have known George since the beginning of my career. He is committed to this profession for the long haul. And what makes it even cooler is the legacy passed down from his dad, Gregg Opelka, the designer of the Green Hornet.”

The CRN is a group of valuation experts focused on resolving the many challenges facing our profession. Lending institutions, Wall Street, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Veterans Affairs, the Federal Housing Administration, Appraisal Management Companies, and appraisers represents the CRN. Through our quarterly meetings and private email network, the “thought leaders” within the appraisal profession act as counsel to each other, share experiences, and assist each other in solving mutual problems.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
