Mr. Park brings more than 30 years of experience in real estate valuation, appraisal regulation, and federal oversight. From 2009 through 2024, he served as Executive Director of the Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, leading federal oversight of the appraisal regulatory system through a period of significant change, including implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act amendments to Title XI of FIRREA. He was the first appraiser on staff at The Appraisal Foundation, where he managed the work of the Appraisal Standards Board and the Appraiser Qualifications Board. He later served on the Foundation's Board of Trustees and chaired its Industry Advisory Council. Earlier, he held valuation and collateral risk roles at PMI Mortgage Insurance, Chevy Chase Bank, and TRW, and began his career at his family's appraisal firm in Colorado Springs.

Mr. Park is a Certified General Appraiser and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). He holds a B.A. in Organizational Communications from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and lives in Colorado.
